Mark & Lauren’s Sunset Wedding at The Sea Shell Resort in Beach Haven, NJ
On June 21, 2025, Mark and Lauren said “I do” with sand beneath their feet and the sound of waves in the background at The Sea Shell Resort and Beach Club in Beach Haven, New Jersey. With vibrant oceanfront views, a heartfelt unity ceremony, and a sparkling reception under the stars, this wedding was a stunning reflection of love, family, and seaside elegance — all beautifully captured by Red Bank Studio.
Getting Ready at Hotel LBI, Ship Bottom
The morning began at Hotel LBI, a modern coastal retreat in Ship Bottom. At 12:00 PM, Lauren prepared for the big day surrounded by her bridesmaids — Kaitlyn, Paula, Nicole, Mariel, and Wendy — in a suite filled with natural light and joyful energy.
At 1:00 PM, Mark and his groomsmen — Pat, Christian, PJ, Jared, and Ross — gathered at the same hotel for their prep. With laughter, toasts, and final touches, the excitement built as the couple prepared to meet for their first look.
Couple’s Portraits & Bridal Party at the Shore
At 2:00 PM, we captured romantic couple’s portraits around Hotel LBI. With a stylish setting and relaxed beach-town vibe, the hotel provided the perfect scene for early-day photos. By 2:45 PM, the group headed to the ceremony site at The Sea Shell Resort in nearby Beach Haven.
Bridal party photos began at 3:15 PM, with the beach and resort architecture offering the perfect backdrop for group portraits. Family photos followed at 4:00 PM, spotlighting everyone from Uncle Donald’s crew to Mark’s sisters’ families and extended relatives — each moment full of love and connection.
A Unity Ceremony at Sunset’s Edge
At 5:00 PM, Mark and Lauren exchanged vows in a beachfront ceremony that perfectly captured their spirit. Guests gathered barefoot in the sand as the couple shared their promises, exchanged rings, and participated in a meaningful unity ceremony with either a candle or wine.
With the Atlantic Ocean as witness and gentle breezes carrying every word, the ceremony ended with a joyful first kiss and cheers from friends and family.
Cocktail Hour, Sunset Portraits & a Sparkling Reception
By 5:30 PM, cocktail hour was in full swing. Guests sipped and mingled as candid moments were captured — including group photos with both sides of the family and newlywed portraits with the beach as a golden-hour backdrop.
The reception began at 6:30 PM, opening with a romantic first dance and moving into heartfelt speeches from the Maid of Honor and Best Man. As the sun set around 8:30 PM, we snuck out for breathtaking seaside portraits, just before the couple cut the cake and lit up the night with a stunning sparkler celebration.
