A Classic & Elegant Wedding at Linwood Country Club
John James and Cereta Rose’s November 1, 2025 wedding at Linwood Country Club in Linwood, NJ was a luminous celebration of love, family, and timeless coastal charm. Nestled near the bay, the club’s historic golf-course setting, lush greens, and elegantly renovated banquet rooms provided a refined yet relaxed backdrop for their day. The newly updated event spaces at the club — including private suites for preparation and sweeping views for ceremony and reception — allowed for a seamless flow from morning prep through sunset portraits to a warm and joyous evening celebration.
From the anticipation of getting ready to the final dance, the day unfolded with thoughtful touches, meaningful family moments, and plenty of memories captured beautifully through our lens.
Getting Ready: Personalized Details, Laughter & Love
At 12:00 PM, Cereta Rose began preparations at Linwood Country Club with her closest friends and family — Cereta Rose Dallago, Cynthia Dallago, Monica Cate, Marissa Keenan, Jenny Glab, Kerri Figaro, Nicolette Cristi, Caitlin Dallago, and little Mila Dallago. The morning was filled with warmth and excited energy: personalized hangers for each gown, matching pajamas for the bridesmaids, and tender moments with moms and sisters. We made sure to photograph the details — flat lays of dresses, jewelry, bouquets — and the soft, glowing candid moments as the girls readied for the day.
A touching “first look with Dad” added an emotional depth to the morning — a pure, heartfelt moment before the ceremony.
At 12:45 PM, John James started his prep in the groom’s suite with his crew: John Cate Sr., Andrew Reaves, Jesse Brennan, Kyle Lackay, Rob Glab, Jake Dallago, Jesse Dallago, Jack Dallago, Chris Figaro, and Kevin Cristi. The energy was easy, familial — from buttoning jackets, sharing jokes, to final tux adjustments. We captured both the calm and the excitement, documenting genuine camaraderie and family support as John prepared for one of the biggest days of his life.
Couple Portraits & Private Moments Before the Vows
At 2:00 PM, John and Cereta stepped into their couple portrait session. With a visual shot list in hand, they entrusted us to bring their vision to life — and the grounds and elegant spaces at Linwood provided wonderful options.
They also planned a set of private vows, a quiet moment just for them before the ceremony. These intimate images — away from crowds, in soft natural light — captured the sincere connection and anticipation of a lifetime commitment.
Bridal Party & Family Portraits — Celebrating Friendships & Family Bonds
At 3:00 PM, the bridal party joined for portraits. We captured many meaningful combinations:
-
Cereta with each bridesmaid individually
-
John with each groomsman individually
-
Mixed groupings: bride with groomsmen, groom with bridesmaids
-
Full bridal-party portraits with everyone together
By 3:45 PM, extended family gathered for family portraits — ensuring parents, siblings, grandparents, and close relatives were included in beautiful group photos. The club’s grounds, elegant interiors, and social spaces offered versatile backdrops: from classic formal portraits to relaxed, warm group images.
Ceremony — A Short, Sweet, and Emotional Moment
The ceremony began at 5:00 PM in Linwood Country Club’s elegant event space. Surrounded by loved ones, John and Cereta exchanged vows and rings in a simple but deeply meaningful ceremony. We captured the ring exchange, the first kiss, emotional glances — and the quiet joy of two families coming together. The gentle early-November light added a soft glow to the ceremony photos.
Cocktail Hour, Reception & Sentimental Details
Immediately following the ceremony, cocktail hour started at 5:30 PM, giving guests time to mingle, enjoy the views, and soak in the joy of the day. As photographers, we took the opportunity to capture décor details — the “Love That Built Us” display, memorial table, the dress display, and meaningful touches that reflected the couple’s story.
Reception kicked off at 6:30 PM with a lineup of heartfelt traditions and celebration:
-
First Dance as husband and wife
-
Groom & Mother Dance
-
Surprise Bride & Mother Dance
-
Bride & Father Dance
-
Speeches by the Best Man (Andrew) and Maid of Honor (Marissa)
-
Cake cutting (captured subtly off to the side, for natural moments without too much fanfare)
Throughout the evening, we captured joyful dances, emotional embraces, and candid guest interactions. Special attention was given to the personal table displays, décor, and guest-experience elements — from heartfelt tributes to loved ones, to the communal atmosphere of friends and family coming together under one roof.
