Kayla & Alexander’s Classic Church Ceremony and Riverside Reception at The Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank, NJ
On June 6, 2025, Kayla and Alexander celebrated their love with a beautiful blend of Catholic tradition and waterfront elegance in Red Bank, New Jersey. Their wedding day included a heartfelt ceremony at the Church of the Nativity and a joyful reception at the stunning Oyster Point Hotel. From trolley rides to a shot ski toast, every moment was full of personality, style, and unforgettable memories — all captured by Red Bank Studio.
Morning Prep at The Oyster Point Hotel
The day began at 11:30 AM, with Alexander getting ready at The Oyster Point Hotel. Overlooking the Navesink River, the serene setting was perfect for capturing quiet moments and anticipation with close family and friends.
By 12:00 PM, Kayla was also preparing in her bridal suite, surrounded by love and energy. Our team focused on the elegant details — her gown, accessories, and joyful expressions — preserving the atmosphere of the morning before the celebration unfolded.
A Sacred Ceremony at Church of the Nativity in Fair Haven
At 3:15 PM, the couple exchanged vows at Church of the Nativity in Fair Haven. The traditional Catholic ceremony was heartfelt and intimate, with the grandeur of the church perfectly reflecting the reverence of the moment. Red Bank Studio captured everything from vows and ring exchanges to the smiles of parents, grandparents, and extended family.
Family Portraits and Trolley Moments
After the ceremony, family portraits were captured at The Oyster Point Hotel around 4:30 PM. Each family was celebrated through thoughtful groupings — from the Jacobs and Briden families to the Cuddys, Perkins, and cherished cousins and grandparents. Special moments on the trolley ride added a fun, candid twist to the day’s story.
Couple & Bridal Party Portraits Along the River
Earlier in the day, at 1:00 PM, the couple shared romantic riverside portraits on the property of The Oyster Point Hotel. Surrounded by sparkling water and contemporary architecture, Kayla and Alexander’s love took center stage.
Bridal party portraits followed at 2:00 PM — a joyful prelude to the formal ceremony. The relaxed setting allowed us to capture natural smiles, laughter, and the unique dynamics of their bridal party with a scenic waterfront as backdrop.
Reception at The Oyster Point Hotel: A Night to Remember
Cocktail hour began at 6:00 PM on the terrace, where guests enjoyed stunning river views, signature drinks, and the warm energy of the evening. As golden hour set in, Kayla and Alexander made their entrance, kicking off a magical evening at 7:00 PM.
The reception featured all the classic highlights: an emotional first dance, touching parent dances, and memorable speeches from the father of the bride, maid of honor, and best man. One standout moment was the bride and groom celebrating with a shot ski — a playful, crowd-cheering highlight. They were later joined by the MOH and best man for a group shot ski moment that brought the room to life.
Cake cutting was kept simple and sweet, off to the side as guests continued to dance and celebrate. Notably, Kayla and Alexander chose to skip the bouquet and garter traditions, making space for a reception that truly reflected their style and joy.
