A Timeless Crystal Point Yacht Club Wedding in Point Pleasant, NJ

Taylor and Dominick’s October 2, 2025 celebration at the beautiful Crystal Point Yacht Club was filled with heartfelt emotion, seamless moments, and timeless images reflective of everything we love about wedding photography in New Jersey. As a waterfront venue along the Manasquan River, Crystal Point offers an elegant backdrop that perfectly complements a romantic, cinematic wedding day—something we were honored to capture for this incredible couple.

From the quiet anticipation of the morning to the sparkler exit under the autumn sky, every part of their wedding day flowed with intention, warmth, and joy.

Getting Ready at Crystal Point Yacht Club

The morning began on-site at 11:00 AM, where Taylor was joined by a supportive and energetic group of loved ones: Angela, Silvia, Angela C., Ashley, Melissa, Brittany, Lani, Rachel, and Megan. The bridal suite buzzed with laughter as details—dress, rings, florals, shoes—were carefully styled and photographed, following the preparation approach outlined in our studio process. 

One of the most emotional highlights came at 12:45 PM, during Taylor’s first look with her dad. Soft window light filled the suite as he saw his daughter in her gown for the first time—a moment full of pride, tenderness, and tears the family will treasure forever.

Just down the hall, Dominick began getting ready at 12:00 PM with Chris, Joe, Matt, James, Joey, Todd, Nick Z., Mikey, and Nick C. Along with classic groom prep, the guys brought their own personality: game day–inspired photos, a fun reveal of their matching socks, and candid moments of camaraderie before the ceremony.

Before they left for the church, Taylor and Dominick exchanged private vows—a quiet, intimate moment just for them that added a powerful depth to the story of their day.

The Ceremony at Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine

The couple’s ceremony took place at 2:00 PM at the stunning Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine in Freehold. With soaring architecture and warm natural tones, the space provided a beautiful setting for a no-mass ceremony that remained heartfelt and faith-centered.

Our team captured the key moments that matter most: the readings, the vows, the Prayer of the Faithful, the ring exchange, and the joyful first kiss. Immediately after, family formals began at 2:45 PM, allowing parents, grandparents, and extended family to share in timeless portraits that will become cherished heirlooms.

Bridal Party & Portraits at Crystal Point Yacht Club

After traveling back to Point Pleasant, the bridal party gathered for images at 4:00 PM. With the elegant waterfront and manicured gardens, Crystal Point provides countless options for both traditional and creative portraits. The group’s energy made for a perfect mix of timeless formals and lively, candid moments.

At 4:30 PM, Taylor and Dominick had their couple’s portrait session—the ideal time of day for soft, flattering light leading into sunset. Following best practices from our studio’s planning guide, having this session 30–45 minutes before sunset helped us capture the warm glow and scenic river views that make Crystal Point Yacht Club such a desirable New Jersey wedding venue. 

We photographed them with parents, with the wedding party, and in quiet moments alone—letting them breathe, laugh, and simply enjoy each other before entering the evening’s festivities.

Cocktail Hour, Reception & Sunset at Crystal Point Yacht Club

Cocktail hour began at 6:00 PM, giving the couple and guests time to relax and enjoy the waterfront breeze. Around 5:30 PM, we captured extended family photos—an ideal transition before the reception doors opened.

The reception formally began at 7:00 PM, with elegantly coordinated events throughout the night:

• First Dance

• Parent Dances

• Welcome speech by Dad

• Speeches by the Best Man, Maid of Honor, and two Matrons of Honor

• After-dinner special dance with Taylor and her mom

• Cake-cutting (off-camera, as planned)

• Final dance of the night

• Sparkler exit under the October sky

With sunset at 6:36 PM, the couple enjoyed a stunning dusk glow—perfect for soft reception sneak-out portraits before the dance floor filled. Following our studio’s night photography approach, we incorporated the venue’s reflective surfaces, lights, and waterfront ambiance to capture cinematic evening images. 

From start to finish, Taylor and Dominick’s day felt effortless, meaningful, and full of genuine connection—a perfect reflection of who they are together. It was an honor to preserve these moments for them.
