Alexis & Steven’s Elegant Palace at Somerset Park Wedding

A Timeless Wedding at The Palace at Somerset Park

Alexis and Steven’s November 7, 2025 wedding at The Palace at Somerset Park was a breathtaking celebration filled with elegance, emotion, and unforgettable moments. As their New Jersey wedding photographer, we had the honor of documenting every meaningful detail—from emotional morning letters to grand portraits under the Palace’s iconic architecture.

From the moment the day began, every detail reflected the couple’s vision for a romantic, stylish, and deeply personal celebration.

Getting Ready at The Palace at Somerset Park

Bridal Prep With Elegant Details

At 2:00 PM, Alexis began getting ready surrounded by Karen, Vicky, Rose, Avery, Victoria, Ally, and Gabriella. The bridal suite buzzed with excitement as matching bridesmaid hangers and beautifully arranged detail items set the stage for timeless photography.

Alexis prepared a gorgeous set of flat-lay pieces—including her invitation suite, rings, jewelry, perfume, and florals—perfect for editorial-style detail imagery.

The morning also included a heartfelt exchange of letters and cards between Alexis and Steven—an emotional, personal touch that added meaning to their already beautiful day.

At 3:45 PM, Alexis shared a touching first look with her dad, a quiet moment of love and anticipation before the events ahead.

Groom Prep With Classic Style

At 3:00 PM, Steven got ready with Steve, Anthony, Michael, Dylan, Christian, Rob, John, and Vincenzo. The groomsmen had matching hangers and watches, tying together the morning details with a clean, coordinated look.

Between tying ties, adjusting jackets, and capturing flat-lay shots of cufflinks and accessories, the guys brought energy, excitement, and laughter into the groom prep session.

Bridal Party Portraits

At 3:00 PM, before the ceremony, we captured bridal party portraits around The Palace’s stunning property. Favorite spots included:

  • The iconic exterior columns
  • The sweeping staircase
  • The elegant lounge couch
  • Outdoor walkways with fall light
  • The Palace’s architecture offered breathtaking backdrops for both formal and candid portraits that highlighted the joy and connection of the bridal party.

A Beautiful Ceremony at The Palace

A dramatic setting for both intimate moments and editorial poses.

    The Ballroom

Captured empty for a cinematic, romantic look—perfect for showcasing the venue’s elegance.

    The Piano Room

A glamorous, sophisticated setting for stylish portraits.

Though sunset was at 4:45 PM, the evening lighting inside The Palace allowed for warm, romantic portraits that highlighted the couple’s chemistry.

    Family Portraits

Also at 6:30 PM, family portraits were taken in beautifully lit locations throughout The Palace, ensuring a mix of formal and heartfelt images.

    Cocktail Hour & Reception

Cocktail hour began at 6:30 PM, lasting a full hour and a half of mingling, laughter, and candid photographs.

    Reception Formalities at 8:00 PM

The reception was filled with emotion and celebration, including:
