A Stylish November Wedding at Stone House at Stirling Ridge, Warren NJ
Megan and Thomas tied the knot on a crisp November afternoon at the stunning Stone House at Stirling Ridge in Warren, New Jersey. Nestled within the Watchung Mountains, this picturesque venue was the perfect backdrop for a wedding that was both effortlessly elegant and filled with warmth, laughter, and love. Red Bank Studio was honored to capture every magical moment from getting ready to the final dance.
Getting Ready at Courtyard by Marriott, Basking Ridge
The day began at the Courtyard by Marriott in Basking Ridge, where Megan got ready with her bridal party—including Julia, Jess, Sarah, Jen, Bella, Katie, Courtney, Shannon, and Callie. The ladies wore matching pajamas, including the moms, making for adorable and cozy photos. We captured detail shots of Megan’s wedding dress, shoes, rings, and invitation suite, before the group gathered for a joyful “first look with the girls” around 12:45 PM. The expressions of excitement and love set the perfect emotional tone for the rest of the day.
Meanwhile, Thomas and his groomsmen—Frank, Kenneth, CJ, Nick B., Nick C., James, Charlie, Landon, and little Cash—were also getting ready at the same hotel. The guys brought fun and flair with their customized sunglasses, adding a stylish and light-hearted touch to the day. Laughter, camaraderie, and some heartfelt moments with family were all part of the pre-ceremony magic.
First Look and Portraits at Stone House
By 2:00 PM, Megan and Thomas arrived at Stone House at Stirling Ridge for their first look in the serene garden area. Surrounded by autumn foliage and rustic architecture, their first embrace was heartfelt and deeply personal. We moved into couple portraits, capturing both posed and candid moments filled with love, laughter, and natural charm. In the event of rain, the venue’s modern and stylish interior provided a perfect backup.
Bridal Party and Family Photos
At 2:45 PM, the full bridal party gathered for portraits. The unique design of the Stone House—blending industrial chic with nature—offered multiple backdrops that perfectly suited this stylish group. We documented every dynamic: the bride with each of her bridesmaids, the groom with his groomsmen, and full wedding party shots that balanced fun and elegance.
Family portraits followed at 3:30 PM, ensuring that close family moments were beautifully preserved before guests began arriving for the ceremony.
Wedding Ceremony at The Stone House
The ceremony began at 4:30 PM and was a sweet, heartfelt affair. Megan and Thomas exchanged vows and rings surrounded by their loved ones beneath the venue’s vaulted ceilings and warm lighting. Their first kiss as husband and wife brought a wave of applause and joyful tears.
Cocktail Hour and Reception at Landmark Tavern
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the elegant indoor-outdoor spaces of the Landmark Tavern at Stone House. We used this time to capture extended family portraits and the intimate moments of connection between guests.
At 6:00 PM, the reception commenced with a romantic first dance, followed by the bride and groom’s dances with their parents. Toasts from the Maids of Honor and Best Man filled the room with laughter and heartfelt memories, while Thomas’s own speech added a personal, touching note.
The evening wrapped with the cake cutting—tucked away in a more intimate setting—which added a cozy and personal flair to the reception flow. Guests enjoyed delicious cuisine, joyful dancing, and the timeless ambiance that only Stone House can provide.
