Getting Ready at The Lake House Inn
The day began at 11:00 AM at the charming Lake House Inn, where Alexandra prepared for the big day with her bridal party, mom, grandmothers, and a few close family members. The bridal suite was abuzz with excitement as we documented the details—wedding dress, accessories, and special heirlooms—alongside candid moments between Alexandra and her loved ones. The soft lighting of the lakeside suite created the perfect backdrop for these early-day emotions.
At 12:45 PM, Alexandra shared a tearful and beautiful first look with her father and brothers, a cherished moment that set the emotional tone for the rest of the day.
Meanwhile, Patrick began getting ready at noon, also at The Lake House Inn, surrounded by his groomsmen and close family. We captured moments of him buttoning his jacket, adjusting his tie, and the quiet reflection just before seeing his bride.

The couple met for their first look at 1:00 PM on the venue’s scenic grounds. With the lake glistening behind them and fall foliage adding a touch of warmth, their first embrace was filled with anticipation and love. The ceremony began at 3:30 PM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Doylestown. The church’s stunning interior served as the sacred setting for their full Catholic Mass, which included two readings, a special offering of flowers to Mary, and heartfelt vows. One unforgettable moment: Patrick’s emotional expression as he watched Alexandra walk down the aisle—a shot we made sure to capture just as requested.
They exited the church as husband and wife to cheers from their guests and snapped a classic “just married” photo on the church steps before heading back to the Lake House Inn.
Cocktail Hour and Reception at The Lake House Inn
Guests arrived back at The Lake House Inn for cocktail hour at 6:00 PM, enjoying the warm ambiance of the venue’s waterfront views and rustic-modern charm. Alexandra and Patrick rejoined their guests, greeted with love and celebration.
The reception officially began at 7:00 PM with a graceful first dance, followed by touching parent dances. Speeches by the Father of the Bride, Maid of Honor, and Best Men offered laughter and heartfelt stories. One emotional highlight came during Alexandra’s surprise speech honoring her mother—a beautiful moment of gratitude and love that brought many to tears.
