The day began at 11:30 AM for Laura and her bridesmaids in charming PJs, sharing laughter and excitement in the bridal suite at Clark’s Landing. We made sure to photograph all the beautiful bridal details—her gown, shoes, jewelry, and the bouquet by Petal Street Flower Company—along with candid moments between Laura, her mother, and close friends like Linda, Carolyn, Lily, Abby, and Sydney.
Meanwhile, James and his groomsmen prepared in the groomsman suite, complete with a pool table, dock access, and bar—all key photography spots for the groom’s side. Waterfront First Look and Emotional Vows
The couple shared their first look on the dock at 1:30 PM—one of the day’s most touching moments. The joy in James’s eyes when he saw Laura for the first time was unforgettable. Afterward, they exchanged private vows seated on the steps in the ceremony room—a quiet, intimate touch that set the tone for their celebration.
We also captured romantic couple portraits throughout the venue: on the upstairs balcony, in the cocktail lounge near the library and bar, and later, during a stunning sunset session on the back deck. These diverse backdrops showcased the charm of wedding photography at Clark’s Landing.

At 2:30 PM, bridal party portraits were taken in front of Clark’s and along the dock. From posed shots like Laura’s bouquet circle to fun candid pairings with each member of the wedding party, every image captured the spirit of friendship and joy. We loved the creative pairings—Laura with Abby, Lily, Sam, Jen, Kerri, and the adorable flower girl, Sydney. James’s moments with each groomsman reflected deep camaraderie.
At 3:30 PM, we transitioned into family portraits, ensuring we documented the full love and legacy surrounding Laura and James. Special family groupings like the Tanella family, the Kessler crew, and members of the “Yacht Club” were honored with dedicated time (and DJ announcements!).

The ceremony began at 4:30 PM—a heartfelt, succinct celebration with readings by both mothers, a sand ceremony, and a memorable first kiss. One unique highlight? A full-guest selfie to cap the ceremony, capturing the energy and love in the room.
Cocktail hour followed, featuring stunning decor: the welcome sign, fireplace, seating chart, and an elegant guestbook. We made sure to capture candids at the food stations and guests mingling by the bar, framed by Clark’s timeless architectural charm.
At 6:00 PM, the reception kicked off with lively entrances, a first dance, heartfelt speeches by the FOB, MOH, and BM, and parent dances that brought tears and smiles. During the golden hour, the staff at Clark’s expertly guided the couple for those magical sunset shots—one of our favorite parts of the evening.
