Timeless Red Bank Wedding at The Oyster Point Hotel
On June 6, 2025, Kayla and Alexander hosted a romantic and elegant celebration at The Oyster Point Hotel, one of Red Bank, NJ’s most iconic waterfront venues. With stunning views of the Navesink River and a carefully curated blend of tradition and personality, their day was a joyful expression of love and family. As experts in wedding photography in New Jersey, the Red Bank Studio team was there to capture each unforgettable detail from start to finish.
Getting Ready Moments at The Oyster Point
The morning began with a blend of calm anticipation and excitement as Alexander prepared at 11:30 AM, followed by Kayla at noon. Both bride and groom got ready at The Oyster Point Hotel, which provided a luxurious, light-filled backdrop for detailed shots of attire, accessories, and those cherished pre-ceremony moments. Our team documented the candid laughs, quiet reflections, and sweet interactions with friends and family that set the tone for the day.
Couple’s Portraits and Bridal Party Fun
At 1:00 PM, we captured romantic couple portraits along the waterfront grounds of The Oyster Point Hotel. The river views, modern architecture, and manicured surroundings created a timeless setting for Kayla and Alexander’s first portraits as a nearly-married couple.
The bridal party joined at 2:00 PM for group photos filled with energy and elegance. The fun and vibrant vibe continued with pre-ceremony portraits on the hotel trolley—an iconic and whimsical touch that added flair to the day’s story.
A Classic Catholic Ceremony in Fair Haven
The couple’s 3:15 PM ceremony took place at the Church of the Nativity in Fair Haven, NJ. A full Catholic mass brought spiritual depth and tradition to the day. We captured the reverent moments, including vows, ring exchange, and their first kiss as husband and wife, alongside heartfelt expressions from their families and guests.
Family groupings were important to Kayla and Alexander. Special attention was given to portraits of the Jacobs family, Briden family, grandparents, cousins, and the Cuddy and Perkins families. These images were filled with love and legacy—timeless keepsakes for generations.
Cocktail Hour on the Water and a Joyful Reception
Back at The Oyster Point Hotel, the cocktail hour began at 6:00 PM. Guests enjoyed cocktails and gourmet bites while taking in views of the water. We focused on capturing candid guest moments, scenic details, and more romantic portraits of the couple at sunset.
The reception began at 7:00 PM and brought an evening of heartfelt and hilarious moments. Formalities included an emotional first dance, parent dances, and speeches from the Father of the Bride, Maid of Honor, and Best Man. One standout moment? The bride, groom, MOH, and Best Man toasting with a shot ski—a fun and bold memory captured perfectly.
The evening ended with cake cutting (set off to the side for an intimate feel) and continued celebration with no bouquet or garter toss—just a night filled with laughter, dancing, and pure joy.
As Red Bank Studio photographers, we were honored to preserve every laugh, every tear, and every toast of Kayla and Alexander’s day at The Oyster Point Hotel—an unforgettable celebration of love and togetherness.
