Brandon and Rebecca’s wedding day at the enchanting Dunafon Castle in Lakewood, Colorado, was a celebration filled with laughter, elegance, and heartwarming moments captured flawlessly by Red Bank Studio.
Getting Ready Moments
The day began with both the bride and groom preparing for their big moment surrounded by loved ones. Rebecca shared meaningful moments with her daughters, Everlee included, her mother, and her bridal party in charming robes before stepping into her soft pink dress. We made sure to photograph the intricate details—her gown on a hanger, heartfelt help from her daughters and mother, and quiet candids of her reflecting in the mirror. Meanwhile, the groom and his crew gathered for their own preparation session, ready to match the excitement.
Bridal Party Fun at Dunafon Castle
At 3:30 PM, the picturesque grounds of Dunafon Castle served as the perfect backdrop for bridal party portraits. We captured timeless group shots, individual images with each bridesmaid and flower girl, and striking visuals of Rebecca’s dress, especially the dramatic train. Michael Gogean was also on hand to photograph the groom with his groomsmen and ring bearer, ensuring both sides of the aisle were equally documented.
A Romantic Ceremony at Dunafon Castle
The couple exchanged vows in a heartfelt 30-minute ceremony on-site at 5:30 PM. We were ready for every unforgettable moment: the emotional walk down the aisle, the officiant stepping aside for a clear shot of the first kiss, and the iconic “Mr. and Mrs.” introduction. Of course, the classic dip shot as they exited the ceremony capped off a dreamy sequence.
Golden Hour and Reception Magic
Cocktail hour at 6:00 PM featured sweet moments like Brandon and Rebecca signing their marriage license and taking advantage of the stunning castle scenery. Some favorites? A playful running-holding-hands shot, a romantic kiss by the water wheel, and a breathtaking smoke bomb photo under night lighting.
By 7:00 PM, the reception was in full swing. Guests enjoyed formalities like the first dance, parent dances, and spirited toasts. Bouquet and garter tosses added fun energy, while the grand fiber-optic send-off provided a magical ending. Rebecca made a special request for us to capture Brandon’s reaction as she walked down the aisle—a moment we made sure to immortalize.
