Wedding Photography at The Stone House at Stirling Ridge
Katelyn and William’s Halloween day wedding at The Stone House at Stirling Ridge in Warren, New Jersey, was the perfect blend of elegance, warmth, and classic fall charm. As a trusted wedding photographer in New Jersey, we had the honor of documenting every joyful, intimate, and beautifully planned moment of their day.
🏨 Getting Ready at Courtyard by Marriott Basking Ridge
The day began at the Courtyard by Marriott Basking Ridge, where Katelyn prepared for the big day alongside her closest friends — Amy Renna, Mary Frances Fennelly, Kerry Judge, Kayla Riggi, Kelly O’Herron, Jamie Parrillo, Jen Brady, and Brittany MacGrath. With hair and makeup completed on-site, there was laughter, excitement, and heartfelt anticipation in the air.
Special care was taken to photograph these unforgettable moments — from the detail shots of rings, shoes, and accessories to the candid behind-the-scenes giggles with her bridesmaids. Though hair and makeup were done at the hotel, Katelyn chose to get into her gown at the venue, allowing us to capture that private, emotional transition surrounded by nature and rustic elegance.
💐 Bridesmaids and First Looks
The first look with the bridesmaids at 1:45 PM was one of those unforgettable moments — full of gasps, happy tears, and genuine joy. Following that, Katelyn shared a moving first look with her father at 2:15 PM, adding another emotional touch to an already love-filled day.
Groom Prep at The Stone House Groom Suite
William got ready at The Landmark Tavern inside The Stone House. Accompanied by Darryl Renna, Christopher Renna, Bobby Collela, Mike Lewandowski, Mike Soriero, Devon Smith, and Mark Riggi, the groom’s suite became a hub of relaxed camaraderie and fun pre-ceremony photos. The guys arrived dressed, allowing time to stage some casual ‘getting ready’ moments and candid group shots.
🥂 Romantic Portraits at The Stone House at Stirling Ridge
Katelyn and William’s couple portraits began at 2:30 PM and embraced the unique features of The Stone House. From the moody elegance of the wine cellar and pool table to the intimate moment at the chess table and iconic walk down the steps — every image reflected their natural connection and easygoing charm.
🎉 Bridal Party and Family Formals
At 3 PM, the full bridal party joined for classic and creative shots — including solo shots of the bride with each Maid of Honor, the groom with his Best Man, and beautiful full-party captures. At 4 PM, family portraits took place in the lush setting surrounding the Landmark Tavern, just in time for golden hour magic.
💍 A Short and Sweet Ceremony
Set outdoors at 5 PM, Katelyn and William’s ceremony was short, heartfelt, and beautifully timed with the crisp autumn air. Surrounded by family and friends, they exchanged vows beneath the venue’s stunning arbor, just as the leaves hinted at peak fall color.
🍸 Cocktail Hour and Reception in the Landmark Tavern
Cocktail hour began at 5:30 PM in the Landmark Tavern’s warm, rustic setting. The couple enjoyed a private “room reveal” at 6:45 PM, allowing us to capture their emotional reactions before guests entered the space. This intimate moment added an extra layer of storytelling to their day.
The reception kicked off at 7 PM with formalities and a night of joyful celebration, music, and dancing. With entertainment by Elite Entertainment, the dance floor stayed packed all night.
