We typically arrive 15-20 minutes before the wedding ceremony begins. If you are staying in a hotel, our team will confirm your location. You can contact us directly through our cell phones in case of any changes.
Depending on your package, you will have assigned one or two photographers and one or two photographers.
We might bring an assistant to help us with lighting based on the day’s events. We do not use our assistants as second photographers or second videographers. They are not added to our contracts and are there to assist us as much as we feel we need to.
Your wedding images are a combination of a lot of different elements coming together and having vendors that work together well is super important.
Here are some general rules to ensure a smooth day:
We always have a photographer/videographer on standby. In the unlikely event, we will send them directly to you. Most of us are within an hour or less from most NJ locations.
We do not charge a travel fee for weddings within 50 miles of Red Bank or Clifton. If your weddings is a bit further then that, let us know and we can work with you on an exact price for travel.
We usually charge $100-$150 per person driving for weddings in other states, such as Pennsylvania or New York State.
For destination weddings, we charge three days of accommodation and travel fare.
Weddings can often run late due to the large group of people involved. To minimize any stress on you and your fiance, we recommend adding a 30-minute buffer to your wedding timeline.
Most of the time, the average tip is between $100 and $200 per person involved in capturing your wedding day.
Just so you know – the tip is at your discretion, so our team will never ask for one.
We usually have the bride and groom or the event planner tip us at the end of our coverage.
Red Bank Studio is fully insured, and we are happy to provide you with a Certificate of Insurance for your venue needs.

There are several things to consider when choosing photographers, and the best way to decide is to discuss them with us over a Zoom call.
Here are some rules of thumb for when you might need to have two photographers/videographers:
These are some reasons you should consider the 2nd photographer for at least part of the day.
Every wedding is unique and it depends on how your wedding day is setup.
We created some example timelines to make it easier to comprehend how we usually like to have a day organized and you can see the timelines we put together here: https://redbankstudio.com/faq-wedding-timelines/
As a rule of thumb, here are the usual times for when we like to start:
We are happy to collaborate with others, but we also understand the significance of our work. If others are present during our work, we ask that they do not disrupt or obstruct our efforts. It is unlikely that their photos will be edited in the same manner as ours, so if you intend to use them in your album, they may stand out. Therefore, we recommend that you avoid having other people take photos, particularly during the ceremony and reception, if you plan to include them in the album.
Table shots are a unique type of photography that we sometimes take at events. Recently, we have started doing something called Table Dashes, which is a more enjoyable way to take these photos. We collaborate with the DJ and instead of going around each table and taking 3-5 minutes on each, we have the DJ announce it and do it during the length of one song. In this way, you won't miss too much time from your reception.
Certainly! We recommend taking exit or night shots as they can make for a beautiful ending to your wedding album. However, please make sure to check with your venue first to ensure that open fire is allowed. Additionally, coordinate with the DJ to ensure that they are aware of the exit and have adequate time (around 20 minutes) to set up and capture the moment. It's important to allocate enough time for this process to ensure that you get the desired shots.
Because every picture should be unique. Making your special day. We will make a wonderful story
