Shannon and Andreas’s wedding at The Stonehouse at Stirling Ridge in Warren, NJ was an unforgettable celebration of love, joy, and beautiful beginnings. As their wedding photographers, we at Red Bank Studio had the pleasure of documenting every heartfelt moment and emotional exchange throughout the day.
Getting Ready Moments at Bridgewater Marriott
The day began at the Bridgewater Marriott in Bridgewater, NJ, where Shannon and Andreas got ready in separate suites. The bridal suite buzzed with excitement as bridesmaids helped Shannon into her gown, surrounded by love and support. Over at the groom’s room, laughter and light-hearted energy filled the air as Andreas suited up with his groomsmen. We captured meaningful details like personalized robes, matching cufflinks, and those quiet moments of anticipation.
The Stonehouse at Stirling Ridge – A Modern Rustic Dream
Once preparations were complete, we moved to the breathtaking venue, The Stonehouse at Stirling Ridge. Set against the rolling hills of Watchung Reservation, this venue is the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern architecture, ideal for wedding photography in New Jersey. The expansive grounds, earthy tones, and stylish interiors created a stunning backdrop for every photo.
First Look and Couples Portraits
Shannon and Andreas shared an emotional first look at the Red Doors—a unique feature of the venue that gave a beautiful pop of color and character. This private moment was filled with awe and emotion, giving us the perfect setting for candid, heartwarming portraits. Their chemistry was effortless, making every shot radiate connection and joy.
Celebrating with the Bridal Party
Following the first look, the couple was joined by their bridal party for group portraits that were both elegant and fun. The wedding party’s energy made for dynamic photos—laughter, genuine hugs, and that celebratory spirit were front and center.
Cherished Family Portraits
One of the most touching moments came during the family portrait session. Shannon and Andreas included an extensive list of family members—parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins—which speaks volumes about the importance of connection in their lives. The Stonehouse’s serene outdoor spaces provided a warm, intimate setting for these treasured moments.
Sunset Ceremony
Their ceremony began at 6:00 PM under soft, golden light that filtered through the trees—a dream for any New Jersey wedding photographer. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the couple exchanged vows with heartfelt emotion. Guests were seated in a beautifully arranged courtyard while a violinist added a romantic soundtrack to the proceedings.
Elegant Cocktail Hour & Reception
After the ceremony, cocktail hour began at 6:30 PM. Guests mingled on the terrace as the newlyweds greeted everyone, enjoying gourmet hors d’oeuvres and signature drinks. We made sure to capture the in-between moments—cheers, hugs, laughter—that often go unnoticed but mean the most.
The reception kicked off at 7:30 PM with a grand entrance and emotional toasts by the father of the bride and the best man. A formal dinner followed, highlighted by a stunning cake cutting and lots of dancing. We loved capturing the energy on the dance floor, where Fanuel, one of our candid-focused videographers, was right in the middle of the action.
